Install Arch on disk with BIOS and Clover UEFI bootloader

My computer has BIOS, but has Clover installer, so it emulates a UEFI system. My drives are partitioned like this:

Disk /dev/sdc: free drive to install Arch

I would like to install Arch to /dev/sdc. I can it two ways: install it with the sata drive attached to the computer, or remove it and connect it with a sata to usb converter. Which option fits better.
I've tried before to install linux, but since it doesn't detect a UEFI BIOS, it fails to install, so I ask for the steps to install Arch to that drive. Note that Clover, which is installed on sda1, automatically detects UEFI partitions, so I guess I won't need to modify clover itself, but create the proper gpt layout and install there the proper uefi executables, so they can boot linux..
