Does anyone else think the little arch logo would look better on the left side of the username? I'm not even sure this is possible, but I think it would look better due to the varying length of usernames.

Why do you feel the need to have a badge? Isn't having a title enough? Anyone that can read what's right under your name can see that you're not a regular user....

Because people don't always read that stuff! So I thought the "badge" would be a quicker guide. We already decided that the stars said the wrong thing though.

I liked the stars better as they are more self-explanitory for someone who has never been here before. I think the star stands out as more of a universal symbol of something different. The Arch badge might not be instantly recognizable by a new person, nor would it's meaning be conveyed just by being there. The Arch symbol also blends in way too much to be noticed easily. Just my $0.02

And what would that point be?

The point with the badge is to allow easier distinguishability amongst members of the community who are designated certain roles, ie. Developers, TU's, Admins, Forum Advisers, etc. Think of all the positions that have "Forum" prepended to their title, including regular users (Forum Resisdent). Even if everyone else was given a different badge/icon/whatever, the purpose would still be served.

I really don't see point of complaining about it -if you really want a badge that bad then do something for the community to earn it. I believe the TU's are always looking for people, I think we still need a documentor, and I know the Forum Advisers would like to have another member. Otherwise stop complaining like a bunch of babies and move on.
