Hi, I am having problems with this package, it does not build:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-gtk/
checking for extra flags to get ANSI library prototypes... none needed
checking for extra flags for POSIX compliance... none needed
checking for glib-config... /usr/bin/glib-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.8... no
*** Could not run GLIB test program, checking why...
*** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the
*** exact error that occured. This usually means GLIB was incorrectly installed
*** or that you have moved GLIB since it was installed. In the latter case, you
*** may want to edit the glib-config script: /usr/bin/glib-config
configure: error:
*** GLIB 1.2.8 or better is required. The latest version of GLIB
*** is always available from ftp://ftp.gtk.org/.
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().
Aborting...
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build lib32-gtk.
==> Restart building lib32-gtk ? [y/N]
I have contacted the package maintainer but his help has not resulted in a solution.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

These lines mean ib32-gtk is looking for the 32-bit version of glib , lib32-glib .
The PKGBUILD for lib32-gtk correctly lists lib32-glib as a dependency for lib32-gtk.
Makepkg would have detected the missing dependency and aborted building before starting any compilation .
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build lib32-gtk.
==> Restart building lib32-gtk ? [y/N]
Those lines suggest you use a certain aur helper.
If you feel the need to use an aur helper, check AUR_helpers - Comparison_table
and choose a decent one.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)
