Before, I could record videos from YouTube in Plasma without any problems. Last days, I've been trying doing from XFCE and I can record the video but not the audio. In simplescreenrecorder, I can choose ALSA, PULSEAUDIO or JACK. I made some tests:
ALSA has different sources:
[default] Default source --> no sound recorded
[sysdefault:0] HDA Intel MID (shared) --> no sound recorded
[hw:0,0] HDA Intel MID: VT1828S Analog --> no sound recorded
[hw:0,2] HDA Intel MID: VT1828S Alt Analog --> no sound recorded
[sysdefault:2] USB Device 0x46d:0x821 (shared) --> sound recorded from the USB webcam
[hw:2,0] USB Device 0x46d:0x821: USB Audio --> sound recorded from the USB webcam
PULSEAUDIO shows no source at all.
If I select JACK and "record system speakers", when I initialize the recording, it gives me this error:
[JACKInput::Init] Error: Could not connect to JACK!
[PageRecord::StartPage] Error: algo ha salido mal durante la inicialización.
What I would like to do is to record the sound coming from the speakers of my screen as I was doing before in Plasma desktop. Any ideas why I can't?
Thanks in advance

Do you have xfce's mixer installed? it likely hogs your audio device and you can't use anything else to access the audio device. Use
sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*to confirm. How did you have simplescreenrecorder set up on plasma? Via pulse or ALSA?

Thanks for the reply.
This is the output you asked for:
sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
[sudo] password for david:
USER PID ACCESS COMMAND
/dev/snd/controlC0: david 640 F.... panel-16-mixer
/dev/snd/controlC1: david 640 F.... panel-16-mixer
/dev/snd/controlC2: david 640 F.... panel-16-mixerRegarding to my previous settings in plasma, if I remember properly it was done via ALSA.

This confirms my suspicion, does it work if you kill the panel-mixer ?

I removed it from the panel, reboot my system and there is no audio anymore.
Update: The reason for it is that always I start my system, the volumen is off. I have to turn it up manually.

Open terminal and write
