Hi,
I have an Acer C720P Chromebook I've installed Arch on (natively, by partitioning). My touchpad has been working fine for a year or so and just today stopped working. Rebooting or restarting X doesn't help. Running
evtest
in a different VT yields no response when I interact with the touchpad, although everything works with the touchscreen or USB mice. Similarly
cat /dev/input/event10
outputs nothing when I interact with the touchpad.
Is there any way this might be resolvable through software? Or is it probably a hardware problem?
