Missed upgrade to pacman-5.0.1 -- what to do?

Hello,

I missed the required upgrade of pacman to 5.0.1 before April 23rd due to not using my Arch laptop for a long time (I had to use Windows for work, but now I'm moving and changing jobs, so I hand back the work laptop and start using my own again). My last pacman version was to 5.0.0 -- as I see in my logs, I missed the introduction of pacman 5.0.1 by just a few days :-/

Yesterday I upgraded pacman alone, but now my question is, what should I do before (and/or after) running a full system upgrade?

I tried looking in the pacman wiki page and the alpm-hooks man pages, but I couldn't figure out what the issue is with upgrading pacman.

Thanks! :-)

Use the ALA to update to a date before the deadline.
