Hi,
I did read the 3-4 other threads regarding my problem of not saving password for remote sftp locations and all of them pretty much point to installing gnome-keyring. I did install it and made sure it's deamon is running but my passwords are not remembered.
I could not find anything in the logs that can point me in any direction.
Is there some folder that I could delete in my /home to make sure I havent some leftovers from kde that would create this issue?
Let me know if you got an idea of what else I could look into.
Thanks

Hey Lio,
What service are you trying to connect to using Thunar, SSH/SFTP/FTP/SAMBA?

Hi Jeroen,
I tried for both SFTP and Samba and none of them are remembered. Note that my samba share is not password protected (anonymous guest user can see their content) but even that is not remembered and need to be respecified after each reboot.

Hey Lio,
Do you have a authentication agent installed?

Thanks ! you got me on a good track. I was actually missing 3 new checkboxes in settings->session->application autostart that are related to gnome-keyring. Checking those fixed it.
