Ralink RT5392 only connects using 802.11b and not 802.11n

I have a PCI-E Ralink RT5392 wifi card, which loads the rt2800pci module.

However, checking my wifi router's control panel, it seems my computer is connected only using 802.11b and not 802.11n. Consequently, the range is very poor, and the internet is extremely slow and prone to random disconnects. My other computers and phones using 802.11n at the same range work just fine.

Is there any remedy for this situation?
