Hi. I was using serveral distros and I used to have GNOME DE on them. Now some friend convinced me to try Xfce4 and I actually like it. I have a problem though with xfce4-terminal starting always at top left corner. I would really like it to start at my mouse position. I know about --geometry, but I don't want to specify pixels, just want it to start where my mouse pointer is. How can I do it?

well i found this, i hope i works:
Settings > Window manager tweaks > Placement > By default, place windows > Under the mouse pointer
although its about all windows not just xfce-terminal ![]()

Yes, I've found that too, but still the terminal does open at the top left corner...

well that worked for me well. you may have set the geometry at 0,0. try removing geometry setting in terminal preferences

Already resetted the terminal settings (deleted Terminal/terminalrc) but it didn't change my situation ![]()
