AmaroK cannot seem to build collection database
When I scan my music collection, amaroK gets to about 90%, then stops, and there is no collection information in amaroK. This is only as of upgrading to 1.4.0.

my amarok 1.4 didn't want to update the database, I had to remove all the config files and amarok db from my home dir.
You can find this files:
find ~ -name amarok*

amarok 1.4 has problems with the db. Wait for amarok 1.4.0a-1

I just upgraded to 1.4.0a, but have the same problem with with mysql: when building collection gets about 96%, it dissapears and no collection is really built.

With both amaroK 1.4 and 1.4.0a-1, I was unable to build my collection using MySQL (SQLite worked). After removing my ~/.kde/share/apps/amarok/ folder and ~/.kde/share/config/amarokrc, however, it worked. Thanks, MAC!EK.

I'm running 1.4.0 without MySQL support and Sqlite supprt and it goes to 98 % and then it stops, and no collection is done.
I'm waiting for 1.4.0a then

I upgraded amaroK from the 1.3 series straight to 1.4.0a-1 on a second computer, and my collection was built without problems using MySQL.
