plasma-workspace-wallpapers dependency for plasma-meta

Hi There,

I want to uninstall plasma-workspace-wallpapers as i use black background,   but it says plasma-meta needs this package, is this true, I tried KaOSx and there i can uninstall this package without any issues, can we remove plasma-workspace-wallpapers as dependency for plasma-meta , plasma-workspace-wallpapers is a 43 MB package and totally unnecessary for plasma-meta.

Re: plasma-workspace-wallpapers dependency for plasma-meta

That's what meta packages are, and you can remove it and it will not result in loss of functionality. If you want to install packages from a group install them from the group, you will have to install new (and not required by anything else) packages yourself then as well https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cr … and_groups (the same is true for KaOSx they don't have metapackages)
