Hi guys and girls,
Could someone please tell me where all the .service files for systemctl are stored and/or how to kill ifplugd and get netctl working.
I've uninstalled ifplugd and recursively removed etc/ifplugd. But on reboot
Systemctl --type=service
Shows that 'netctl-ifplugd@eth0.service' is loaded but failed. Please help me kill this vermin. I just want a simple static profile run by netctl.
Thanks in advance

Still don't have a solution for this. Usually I just manually input everything with Ip link command. But I need this static to be automatic. Seems like such a newb problem. Don't know why this is so difficult.

Ok so found all those files in /etc/systemd/system/multi-user.target.wants I deleted the ifplugd file but it still shows up as active. Wateva. I restarted my netctl profile and now the journal is saying that it "Failed to bring the network up for profile '....' But if I set the interface to up it says 'interface already up for profile... This seems pretty stupid. This actually reminds me why I stopped using netctl or any other network daemon and just enter it manually; coz they all suck massive ....

Stuff it. Found another solution here:

Die netctl. Die.
