I went to install Arch Linux (GNU/Linux so I don't get yelled at by someone who thinks they are funny with that silly meme) today and ran into a problem when booting from the usb drive.
Upon booting into the USB drive I am greeted with the arch installer boot loader. I selected the x86_64 option. Upon selecting that my screen goes to black and the screen looses signal.
Things I have tried are as follows.
Changing from booting from the UEFI option in the boot menu to the normal option for the flash drive.
Unplugging all other displays (except one connected to my Nvidia GPU via dvi).
Trying a diffrent display connected via the other DVI port on the same Nvidia GPU)
Making sure that Intel integrated graphics were disabled in the bois.
Trying different USB drives.
This was using boot image 2016.09.03
Usb was created in Rufus under a windows 10 partition on another computer.
I tested the boot usb and it worked in another computer with a dedicated Nvidia gpu installed.
Are there any logs I should attach to this?
Thank you for your time.

Is there a way I can set these paramaters to start with the arch install from grub every time? I got it installed but cant boot into it for the same reason as the usb drive. Thanks!
