[SOLVED] XFCE: Submenu in desktop menu but not in panel menu

Hello,

I can see a subsection of my menu when I right-click on the desktop. When I edit the application menu on the panel, I can see it as well. However, even if I activate it, I cannot seem to make it appear in the panel menu. What am I doing wrong?

If the submenu has no menu items, then it is this known bug that has been fixed in the git tree but a new version of garcon has not yet been released. Current workaround is to create at least one menu item in each submenu so that the submenu is not empty.

Thank you, toz. Do you have any idea why Arch still includes garcon 0.4.0-1 while upstream has released 0.5?
