[SOLVED] Avidemux package fails to find patch

Installing avidemux-2.6 from aur when I hit the following error.

CMake Error at /var/aur/avidemux-2.6/src/avidemux_2.6.13/cmake/FindPatch.cmake:15 (message):
  patch not found
Call Stack (most recent call first):

Any suggestion how to get around or fix this issue?

Re-read the AUR page on the wiki, particularly the section titled 'prerequisites'.

I thought I had installed base-devel for a prior application install and I had, but several packages in base-devel, including patch, were not installed. I don't recall why patch was missing, but it was probably an error on my part. After reinstalling base-devel, the avidemux package installed properly.
