Installing avidemux-2.6 from aur when I hit the following error.

I thought I had installed base-devel for a prior application install and I had, but several packages in base-devel, including patch, were not installed. I don't recall why patch was missing, but it was probably an error on my part. After reinstalling base-devel, the avidemux package installed properly.
