Konsole keeps turning my console font bold every time I start it

When I go into Konsole and set my default profile font to Regular, upon restarting the program, this setting is lost, instead it uses the Bold version of the same font. Is there any way to fix this?

I found this bug report. However, it's not clear to me what the actual resolution is. Please post if you figure it out.
