Hello all
I'm using bumblebee on my lenovo p50 mobile workstation with intel/nvidia hybrid graphics, im unable to get hdmi audio to work, if i install arch with the discrete graphics only, then the hdmi audio port is detected, im using bumblebee and nvidia proprietary drivers
I've followed the wiki for alsa and pulseaudio as best i can with a ton of google searching i have found no results
aplay -l displays the following:
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC98 Analog [ALC298 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
i've tried using pavucontrol and alsamixer neither one can detect the audio even after using "optirun true" to switch on the gpu
Any ideas ?
Kind Regards

For some reason the HDMI audio device only appears after some magic.
See https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75985

I tried that and didn't have any luck as im using the nvidia driver instead of the free one, is there a process for the closed source driver ?
