When opening impress I get the error message "Object not accessible. The object cannot be accessed due to insufficient user rights." The weird thing is, writer and calc are working fine. I can also start existing .odp and .pptx files, edit them, and save changes to them. It's just that I cannot start impress when I'm not doubleclicking a presentation file. Tried
chmod -R 755 ~/.config/libreoffice
to ensure it is not a problem with my permissions. Also tried reinstalling. Any ideas? Thanks

Back up and delete the entire ~/.config/libreoffice, report back with results.

If Awebb’s suggestion will not fix the thing, please also report the output of:
$ pacman -Q "$libreoffice"
$ pacman -Qkk "$libreoffice"
(replace $libreoffice with either libreoffice-still or libreoffice-fresh — depending on what you’re using)
Don’t forget to report versions of things you’re using in future threads.

Are you opening impress with or without a file? If with a file, what permissions and ownerships does that file have?

Was going to open Impress without a file, with a file worked. Awebbs solution worked, thanks a lot!
