Installing with existing lilo bootmanager

I have Slackware installed on one of my drives already, I use lilo as a bootmanager and I would like to add Arch linux to another drive. Is it possible to install arch on my computer without it screwing with the bootloader? I have tried using other ubuntu variations in the past and each one has ROYALLY screwed the MBR with grub. Grub really sucks and I DO NOT want to use it.

Please don't tell me to use grub because it is better, because it IS NOT.  Grub is a horrible bootmanager.

Thanks

Arch doesn't install a bootloader, you do...

Re: Installing with existing lilo bootmanager

In other words, all you need to do is edit your lilo configuration.

As an aside, it looks like lilo is pining for the fjords; development seems to have ended last year.  You may want to look into syslinux of you don't care for Grub.
Of course, if lilo works for you ....
