[STALE] Secondairy Monitor on Lenovo T430s Docking station

I've hooked up a Samsung monitor to a Lenovo T430s docking station. USB ports seem to work awesomely. The monitor is visible in display settings and reported as a monitor but I can't activate it as mirror or secondairy monitor.

I'm on GDM/GNOME and not sure if X-server settings have an effect or not. This is all wayland, or Xwayland, afik, so all settings should be done within wayland, I guess, but please correct me.

How do I get the second monitor working?
Or better, is there a resource describing what to install for a Lenovo T430s (with docking station)
