Tearing in i3

Hi!! First sorry for my bad enlgish. Yesterday I installed i3 in my Arch and I noticed that firefox and chrome makes tearing when scroll. Then I install compton and the issue in firefox improves, but chrome keeps tearing. I must say that if I open i3 in Ubuntu there is no single tearing. Any ideas?? Thanks!!

personally, I prefer xcompmgr, but compton works just fine. the point is that you need a compositor to provide acceleration
