SDDM breaks so switch back to GDM

I dual boot my Arch Linux on Mac pro. I had Gnome running first but later I decide to switch back to KDE. Weird thing is that when I try to replace gdm with sddm the kde never works after I login. I can only see a black screen or a cross for the mouse.

Here are a few things I have tried:
* get rid of the /etc/sddm.conf and generate a new one from example, would not work
* try to delete ~/.Xauthorty, not work

Now I have switch back to gdm. I dont know whether or not it is a bug related to mac pro or maybe someone has experienced the same thing?
