Issues installing vmplayer

Hi,

I used this article here:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VMware

to try and install VMPlayer.  It seems to install correctly, but when I run it, it gives me this error on the command line:

Gtk-Message: Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module": /usr/lib/libgtk-3.so.0: undefined symbol: g_action_group_action_added

Please advise!

Thx,
Hamayoun

Re: Issues installing vmplayer

Sounds like a partial update issue.

What is a "partial update issue"?

Re: Issues installing vmplayer

A partial update is when you update one part of your system without updating the whole thing. This is unsupported.
