mpack safe to use on arch?

I've never had to deal with any outdated packages before, so I'm not sure what to do when mpack is popping up as "Unsupported package: Potentially dangerous !" when I try to install it. Am I better off just using the built in mail command in arch? Or is it ok to install mpack?

How are you installing mpack? Have you read the wiki pages about the AUR and how to use it?

There is no guaranteed way to identify which packages on the AUR are malicious, but you can keep an eye out for poorly written PKGBUILDs as well as ones which pull sources from questionable urls. If you don't trust it, don't use it.

Fair enough, luckily I found that the mail command can be configured to do exactly what I had mpack doing before on my rpi3.
