Can't set lirc to work

Hello!

After lirc_pctv dissapeared, i haven't can to set up lirc to work with the actual package. Before this, all gone ok, and with my LFS system all gone ok too.

As i use the default Arch kernel, the serial port is compiled in the kernel, so, i make:

setserial /dev/ttyS0 uart none (without errors)

Now:
modprobe lirc_serial
but:
FATAL: Module lirc_serial not found.

But lirc_serial is in:
/lib/modules/2.6.16-ARCH/kernel/drivers/misc/lirc_serial.ko

And i can't follow, as i don't know what can be happening.

Information you maybe need:

The remote control is connected to ttyS0

The "dmesg | grep serial" output:
serial8250: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
serial8250: ttyS1 at I/O 0x2f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A

My remote control is a pinnacle, and doesn't need a module

If more information is needed, ask for it!

Any idea?

thanks!
