Yesterday, my gtk3 config seemed to stop being applied. All my gtk3 applications started falling back to the default Adwaita theme. I find this quite strange since neither gvim (the program I noticed it first on) or gtk have been updated recently, according to the timestamps on the files in /var/cache/pacman/pkg/.
# $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/gtk-3.0/settings.ini
[Settings]
gtk-theme-name = "Vertex-Dark"If I manually use set GTK_THEME=Vertex-Dark when running the applications, they work fine, so it seems to be something strange with the config.
Any help is appreciated!

There shouldn't be quotes around the theme name. You need this:
gtk-theme-name = Vertex-DarkOffline
That seemed to solve it, thanks!
I wonder why it stopped working... Maybe gtk3 themes weren't working all along, and gvim's move to gtk3 did it... The package modification dates don't seem to tie up, but it seems the most plausible answer.
