"usermod" help needed

Hi there!

I've got a (maybe) simple question.
What's to do get the newly created grouprights for a user working without loggin in/out?
What i mean:
I add a user to group via usermod -G and then do a groupconv, but I still have to logout - login to get the new group working for this user.
But isn`t there any way to get it working without loggin in/out?

AFAIK, there is no way around the logout/login requirement, either with usermod or with gpasswd.
