I recently decided to move to KDE since it seems to be quite stable, but I missed some icons for programs. I have been messing around with the GTK3-styles like advised in this topic: https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=2 … 03#p344674. The icons are back, but now the Gnome apps are broken. It looks like they are missing a stylesheet or something like that:

The above picture is the Gnome file manager, and as you can see the whole application looks messed up. The context menu also looks really weird. I have this problem only in Gnome applications, like Geary or Evolution. Can someone help me out with some tips on how to restore these applications?

Well what IS your theme set to? Make sure you use breeze-gtk (not oxygen as the poster you linked to implies, it hasn't seen any further development and will not be upgraded to be compatible with whatever GTK decides to break next)

That was it! I was compiling a list of every location where I could select Breeze, and in Application Style -> Gnome Application Style I still had 'oxygen-gtk' selected. I changed that to Breeze, and now the applications look great. I hope not to use the Gnome apps that often, but this looks a lot better. Thanks a lot!

Cool, don't forget to mark as solved by editing your initial post and prepending [SOLVED] or similar
Also for future reference, please only post thumbnails or links to images, people with metered connections will thank you (it also makes the post look more organized)
