Another Broadcom chipset problem

I have a dell D630 with a 4311 chipset, and according to the page in the wiki, I installed b43-firmware-classic, and blacklisted b43legacy, but I still get errors.

Re: Another Broadcom chipset problem

You don't need to blacklist b43legacy, though this isn't the cause of your problem.

Do you have /usr mounted on a separate partition? Is /lib a symlink to /usr/lib? What's the result of pacman -Ql b43-firmware-classic ?

Re: Another Broadcom chipset problem

That's chip id 4311, but which pci-id is it (4311, 4312, or 4313)?

Re: Another Broadcom chipset problem

Oh, I actually got it working, I don't know why, but the classic firmware vanished on me (I have no idea why, please don't ask me, although, I am curious), so I reinstalled it, and it works
