After a recent package update, redshift fails to adjust the color of my screen.
I am using the Dell XPS 13, 2015 edition.
Running redshift -v produces the following output:
$ redshift -v
Location: 32.10 N, 85.60 W
Temperatures: 5700K at day, 3500K at night
Solar elevations: day above 3.0, night below -6.0
Brightness: 1.00:1.00
Gamma (Daytime): 0.800, 0.700, 0.800
Gamma (Night): 0.800, 0.700, 0.800
Status: Enabled
Period: Night
Color temperature: 3500K
Brightness: 1.00
but my screen doesn't change color.
The same thing happens when I try to use drm.
Specifying vidmode:
$ redshift -vm vidmode
Location: 32.10 N, 85.60 W
Temperatures: 5700K at day, 3500K at night
Solar elevations: day above 3.0, night below -6.0
Brightness: 1.00:1.00
Gamma (Daytime): 0.800, 0.700, 0.800
Gamma (Night): 0.800, 0.700, 0.800
Gamma ramp size too small: 0
Failed to start adjustment method vidmode.
Here is my redshift.conf:

[nschoem@X-ME56-Nesasio ~]$ grep -ve '; ' .config/redshift.conf

;brightness=0.9

This problem started occurring after a receng upgrade to the latest GNOME packages. Redshift works as intended on xfce.
How do I get redshift working again under the latest version of GNOME? Is a rollback my only option?
Offline
Run GNOME under Xorg rather than Wayland. Then redshift will work again.
Offline
Confirmed: redshift works properly in GNOME on Xorg. Thank you!
