I'm running arch in a VMware Player, and CIFS shares are provided by Win8.1 host.
I have multiple (four) shares mounting on boot.
Sometimes some of those will stop working - any file access will freeze. Others may continue to work normally at the same time.
Network connection is up and running.
Strace shows applications freezing after doing lstat on the mount point.
After a long wait (5-10 minutes, i'd say) they get unstuck and continue working.
How do I go about troubleshooting this issue?
