Arch64-base [SOLVED]

When i reboot after the installation of arch64-base,i boot normally but i can't do anything.There's not even pacman to execute.Why is that ?
Also when i give ls there are many files like "hda hdb hdc hdd hde",not in /dev,but /.Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like the install wasn't sucessful. This obviously isn't supposed to happen. Have you tried going through the install process again to see if any errors are displayed during package install?

My noobie mistake,i forgot to add line initrd /initrd26.img to /boot/grub/menu.lst.
It works smoothly now,thank you.
