Since my upgrade to Gnome 3.22 and Wayland I face the following issues:
1. Menus appear on the wrong place and with the wrong size: https://i.imgur.com/jorMHai.png
2. Gnome MPlayer won't open
3. LibreOffice Writer looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/9iyQe0u.png
Does anyone else have the same problems? Any suggestions?
Thank you.

I can only face the point with mplayer. See https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1661253 ... also waiting for response :-)

gnome-mplayer-git gnome-mpv works for me, and I can't reproduce 1. or 3.

1. seems to be https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=771841 which is now fixed in the mutter master branch

I don't see a gnome-mplayer-git in AUR.

Sorry, I actually mixed up gnome-mplayer and gnome-mpv.
Nevertheless, my understanding is that mplayer doesn't support wayland (and I couldn't find anything that would confirm otherwise from its documentation), so I'd imagine gnome-mplayer shouldn't work either.
Mpv supports wayland output, but the default GUI only works properly under Xorg. Gnome-mpv should work without any issues though.

Ah, I had no idea that mplayer does not support Wayland. Well, no problem then, Gnome-MPV it is. Thank you for the input.
