Hi all,
I've googled this but haven't found much.
I'm running arch on a laptop with i3.
Screen will go blank (backlight off) after 10 minutes.
I'm fine with this, but on 'awakening' the brightness resets to a low level.
This also happens on restart.
I can work around this by setting brightness in /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness on bootup which is fine.
But I don't know if I can do something similar for when X resumes... or fix the underlying issue.

Also in order to get the backlight keys to work I had to set the following on 'linux' line in grub.cfg (kernel parameter I guess)
acpi_osi=
Would appreciate some help on this, it's not show stopping, just annoying
Thanks!
