GDM login screen always on 2nd monitor

Hi,

my login screen, ever since updating to Gnome 3.22, always is displaying on the right screen even though my left screen is set to 'primary'.

Any idea how to fix this?

Have you checked /var/lib/gdm/.config/monitors.xml ?

GDM is using Wayland per default since a while and now the Gnome Shell also does so.
If you use Wayland both on GDM and Gnome Shell, you have to setup your monitors in Gnome Shell and then copy your ~/.config/monitors.xml file to /var/lib/gdm/.config/monitors.xml
Keep in mind that /var/lib/gdm/.config/monitors.xml should be readable by the GDM user.
