[SOLVED} Can't boot arch iso x86_64 USB

I have a machine that will not boot arch iso x86_64 USB.  It will boot and install the 32bit version just fine. I have had the x86_64 version installed on the machine previously with no problem.  The hardware is a dual 6 core AMD opteron CPU's with 16GB of memory installed.  With the 32 bit version installed it only reports 3.5 GB of memory in OS.  Any ideas on why  the arch iso x86_64 USB will not boot? Help.

Can you operationalize "will not boot"?  What errors do you get?  What happens when you attempt it?

Sorry I wasn't any help - I'm glad you got it sorted.  Please feel free to edit your first post and prepend "[SOLVED]" to the title.
