GNOME ignores natural scrolling setting

Hi,

yesterday, I updated my laptop and today I noticed that natural scrolling (you move your fingers down and the screen goes up) is enabled.
But I want it to be disabled.
I tried setting and resetting the value in the "Mouse & Touchpad" menu, but with both settings nothing happens.

GNOME version: 3.22.1
Xorg version: 1.18.4 (installed in July)

Laptop: Thinkpad T440s

Re: GNOME ignores natural scrolling setting

OK, the problem was Wayland. Reverting back to Xorg does resolve the issue.
