google loves us

I cannot recall alot of the topics, but over the past few days, searching google for linux questions has brought up the arch forums/wiki in at least the top 5 results for quite alot of searches I've done.  So "woot", I guess

Sorry, I just had a little urge to talk in l33t.  You don't know l33t?  Here, you can learn it too! http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/A787917

Here's the translation:

Re: google loves us

It depends if you are using customized results or not.  I know that google is pretty much tracking every computer that uses it's service, and personalized results may be different for everyone

BUTTTTTT

If it doesn't say "Personaziled Results" in the corner, then they _should_ be all the same.

Re: google loves us

Look at this:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=archlinux

Seems quite good! Not so good if compared with other popular distros:

http://www.google.com/trends?q=archlinu … l&date=all

tongue

Let's spread ARCHLINUX!

Re: google loves us

Well trends only means how often users search "archlinux".  The whole point of the thread is not that they are searching archlinux, but that they are searching under other topics, and finding us as the informational resource.

but yes, people should search archlinux more often too :-P
