I'm probably one of the few or only one this issue effects but I just tried to play Diablo 2 with wine today after a pacman upgrade and it wouldn't start. This has happened in the past and a downgrade to wine was all that was required. Today was different as I had to downgrade to linux-4.7.6-1, nvidia-304xx-304.131-16, nvidia-304xx-libgl-304.131-2, lib32-nvidia-304xx-libgl-304.131-1 to get things working again. I also downgraded the 304xx-util packages but that may not have been necessary or I guess I could have removed them.
This is on a 64 bit system with Geforce 6200 video. I can hold the packages at this version for a while but upgrading in the future may be problematic. I also tried the linux-lts and nvidia-304xx-lts for a longer term solution but that didn't help so it's likely an nvidia-304xx-libgl issue. Other wine games played fine but Diablo threw some X errors when run from terminal.
If anyone else comes upon this problem, downgrading was my answer for the time being.
