System freeze when laptop not plugged.

Hello,

I have a thinkpad yoga 14, I think this started after I run full system update `pacman -Suy` so everytime my laptop is not plugged to power after a few minutes it just hangs, mouse and keyboard not responding, tried to kill the WM, or switch to other VTs, none is working! Looking at Xorg logs or dmesg didn't help me.

How can I investigate this incident?

Re: System freeze when laptop not plugged.

First, I have no idea and there's not much info here.

But I would assume that if the difference in the laptop running on power and freezing on no power, I would start looking at my powersaving options that probably kick in when the laptop is on battery power.

Re: System freeze when laptop not plugged.

Well, I'm using TLP, with the default configurations, except for battery charge thresholds. Is it possible that it conflicts with another power management tool, I have the package acpi installed as well.

What more info can I provide for instance ?
