Hi,
I just upgraded my kernel and my desktop disappeared ! I only have my background : No icons, no trash, nothing !
My Desktop folder is still in my home directory.
Informations :
Gnome 3.22.1
What I already tried :
Removing all extensions and startup programs
Looking for /etc/xdg/autostart/nautilus-autostart.desktop which is there !
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons true
I also tried reinstalling gnome gnome-extra entierly but no luck !
Thanks in advance !

Use the forum search next time ! GNOME has switched to Wayland by default ! Switch that back to Xorg ! GDM should provide you an entry to do so !
(In all seriousness, tone down on the exclamation marks )

I didn't realized I used some much exclamation marks (!).
Thank you so much for your help, I searched this for quite a long time and was starting to be a little desperate (I should maybe stop relaying only on Duck Duck Go and use the search engine on the forum ).
