Tweak Tool doesn't help add icons to the desktop on Gnome 3
Hi there. I'm new to this forum, so I'm sorry if I tell or ask something wrong.
About half a year ago I moved completely to Arch with Gnome 3 - and it was fantastic! At first, I used to miss my desktop icons, but after some research Tweak Tools solved my problem. Everything was alright untill a sudden powercut. I restarted my computer and realised that:
a) all icons from the desktop disappered (even though they were still enabled in Tweak Tools
b) some strange folders appeared in my home directory
The second was not a problem. The first was. Even reinstallation of Arch on another hard drive didn't help. And yes, I am more than sure that my Desktop directory contains some files.
Any suggestions?
