For the last few days, I've been having trouble with my screens blanking, briefly, before returning to normal. It seems to happen when I move the mouse; moving from one screen to another definitely does it, but it's also done so when I'm pretty sure the mouse has not left the screen. The picture, on just one screen, goes black for a second or so, but the apps don't appear to freeze, or anything like that.
I have a triple-head setup on a Skylake Intel Laptop and using Gnome 3.22. I get the same with both X11 and Wayland.
When the picture comes back I get the little icon the monitor uses to indicate the input, so I believe the signal must have been interrupted. Nothing appears in the log when it happens. I've observed this on both the external monitors, but I don't believe I've seen the built-in laptop monitor do it.
Any thoughts?

I raised issue for kernel 4.8.4.1
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=185541
Downgrading kernel helps.
sudo pacman -U linux-4.8.3-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz linux-headers-4.8.3-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xzOffline
Thanks. Fingers crossed for a fix.

I downgraded to 4.8.2-1 (somehow I missed 4.8.3-1) but it hasn't solved the problem. :-(
I didn't see it for a couple of hours, but it just started doing it again.

I've been running kernel 4.8.6-1 all day, and I've not observed the problem, so far ...
