Sound Switcher Indicator on Arch?

I really appreciate this little program, but I couldn't find the arch package.
Is there any way to install this on arch systems?

Thanks!

appearantly not.
but i'd recommend pavucontrol anyways. lets you switch audio interfaces for each application.

Yes,  pavucontrol works, but it's not as handy as Sound Switcher Indicator.

Re: Sound Switcher Indicator on Arch?

There are instructions on the page you linked for installing from source -- have you tried that?

It would be best to create a PKGBUILD file and install using pacman, but if that is beyond your skills right now you could try the install instructions.

Hey,
if you're using the gnome shell community build you could use this one:
gnome-shell-audio-output-switcher

I'm using Volume Mixer and I can't live without it.

Re: Sound Switcher Indicator on Arch?

Yo, I just released my first AUR package :-) Aaaaand: it is the sound switcher indicator
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/indi … tcher-git/
Install it with:

yay -S indicator-sound-switcher-git

Or whatever package manager you use to install packages from the AUR.
