Hello everyone, I used to use gnome but switched to i3-wm a week ago and so far I am hooked to it. Currently I am running i3 through GDM. The problem is that I am experiencing video freezes a few times every minute, they are most noticeable when watching video or just moving the mouse around(I can even notice them when typing text as everything stops and a few characters appear at once). I am using compton with the default configuration and optimus to switch between discrete and integrated graphics. I have absolutely no idea how to troubleshoot this problem and am grateful for any advice! Feel free to ask if you need me to provide more information about my system.
P.S I tried running it without compton but the freezes are still there. I also tried disabling the discrete graphics card but that did not help aswell.
