File-roller not integrated with nautilus

Last time I'm uninstalled file-roller for some reason, now I'm reinstalling file-roller but "Compress..." context menus not open file-roller dialogue.

How can I make nautilus open file-roller when compressing file?
I've already installing contractor nautilus-actions gnome-menus and file-roller itself

Re: File-roller not integrated with nautilus

I don't know the answer to your question, but according to https://razvanchitu.wordpress.com/2016/ … re-begins/ GNOME developers intend to retire file-roller eventually.

This should reduce the usage of file-roller so it can eventually be removed as an application.

Re: File-roller not integrated with nautilus

Asked 3 weeks ago in IRC channel:

deadmetaler    Hi. Is it file-roller plugin was deleted from right-click menu in 3.22?
csoriano    deadmetaler: yes
deadmetaler    csoriano: Why?
csoriano: Maybe it was better to leave and just rename?
csoriano    deadmetaler: it's integrated in nautilus now, see https://csorianognome.wordpress.com/201 … s-changes/ for information about the news and changes in nautilus 3.22
deadmetaler    csoriano: Yes, I now. But if I want to package with other options like *lz4 *lzo... Now I need to launch file-roller and search files to package.
csoriano    deadmetaler: yeah, the point of the integration is to offer the most common formats
otherwise use a different app
