Systemdboot and grub?

I am installing arch alongside windows 10 in UEFI mode.
I`ve mounted /dev/sda1 to /boot
and /dev/sda6 to /.

Can I install systemdboot on the vfat /dev/sda1 partition? Or do I need a third partition with grub installed?

Re: Systemdboot and grub?

It's not a good idea to have both systemdboot and grub, both softwares do the same job (systemd boot is more basic but it does what it needs to do). You can put systemdboot in the EFI partition (or possibly another vfat partition, depending of your firmware, although if you do not use the EFI partition, you will have to install by hand, the install script only support the EFI partition). Unlike grub, with systemdboot, the kernel must reside in the same vfat partition.
