Cannot enter LUKS passphrase with USB keyboard

Hello,

I have a ASUS laptop and a desktop computer. After a kernel update I cannot enter the LUKS passphrase with a USB keyboard. I can enter it using the builtin keyboard, but not with an external keyboard.

Also, if I unlock my machine and then do a

sudo mkinitcpio -p linux

after it is unlock, then I can start using the USB keyboard again. (Although, for the desktop computer, that is a lengthy procedure, that needs both the desktop and the laptop computer)
