Hey,
I have a Dell laptop with discrete Nividia graphics and i installed Bumblebee and it was working fine under xorg session
the last week i was using gnome-shell under wayland and today i tried to run optirun didn't work. so i thought its cause of wayland and i switched to xorg but when i login using it just hangs and doesn't show the mouse
the output of the boot using journalctl is http://pastebin.com/QHtLuUSP
i remember that i installed a shell extension that caused me a bit of trouble but i removed it. called Feron extensions.gnome.org/extension/841/freon/
What could be the problem ?

For me it looks like most things are working ok, anyway try moving gnome-shell settings from your user home directory somewhere else and then login to Xorg.
mv ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/ ~/somewhere/else

it didn't work.. only difference now i can see the mouse pointer when i log in. before it used to disappear.
Maybe i should mention that if i login as root it works just fine. and I3wm session works as well

Might be the mutter bug:

Check to see if you have the segfault in libgtk in dmesg, and if so downgrade your version of mutter.

Thanks a lot
downgrading Mutter to mutter-3.22.1+41+ge8fc090-1-x86_64 worked
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/mutter-3.22.1+41+ge8fc090-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
