Hey. Since some wine dependency update yesterday, I cannot launch any application by wine - neither in existing wineprefixes nor in a new one. While wine doesn't log anything to stdout, all i can see is that /usr/bin/wineserver hangs at high load does not react to anything but SIGKILL.
While I'm trying to find out what packages were updated yesterday - does anyone else experience that?
Regards
anarki

Update
Wine version is 1.9.21-1.
Since everything worked fine until yesterday, I downgraded the following dependencies of wine that were updated recently:
libpng
lib32-libpng
lib32-libxi
wine to 1.9.19-1 without any improvement of the situation
---
Update 2
With WINEDEBUG=+server, I can see the following debug info:
write_process_memory( handle=ffffffff, addr=006f4088, data={e9,5f,f9,04,00} )
*signal* signal=19
---
Update 3-4
The issue is reproducable on different machines running the kernel 4.8.3-1-ARCH and occures with all tested Wine versions 1.9.19 - 1.9.22
---
Update 5
The issue depends on the kernel version - with the binaries in question, Wine works until kernel 4.8.2-1-ARCH and stops working from 4.8.3-1-ARCH ongoing. Filed WineHQ bug 41637.

That's... weird. Did you double-check that wine isn't fire-walled / can access loopback?

Definitely. The issue may occur with Wine running Delphi programs, only. Further discussion is going on here.
